General Information Sessions

Earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from San Francisco State University locally at Cañada College! To help combat the well-known nursing shortage, a four-way partnership between Sequoia Healthcare District, Sequoia Hospital, Cañada College and SFSU provides for this great opportunity - Sequoia Hospital provides most of the clinical training and offers a forgivable loan and a competitive scholarship through its Foundation, Cañada College supplies the space and facilities through its University Center and offers preparatory courses for the BSN major, SFSU provides the faculty and BSN degree. Funding from Sequoia Healthcare District sustains the Program.

Students who successfully complete the Program earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from SFSU and are eligible to take the state licensing examination to become a Registered Nurse. See below for more information for prospective students…
