Sequoia Healthcare District’s HeartSafe Program makes AEDs available at a reduced rate or will donate equipment to eligible nonprofit organizations. The first step is to complete the HEARTSAFE PROGRAM APPLICATION AND AGREEMENT

Did you know?

The HeartSafe program has placed over 250 defibrillators throughout southern San Mateo County in such locations as police and sheriff vehicles, parks, schools, community centers and public buildings. Through our extraordinary collaborations with local fire departments and American Heart Association certified CPR instructors, we have trained nearly 2,800 community members in CPR and AED use. To date, 3 community member’s lives have been saved through the placement of these defibrillators.

Sequoia Healthcare District’s HeartSafe Program is a community response system designed to increase the survival rate from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) through education, training and the placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout southern San Mateo County.
