Community Programs

Since 1996, Sequoia Healthcare District has been a leader in developing and supporting innovative health care programs for the residents of central and southern San Mateo County.
The District is committed to returning 100% of all current tax dollars to the community through various health programs. Some of these programs have been developed by District staff and are managed by District staff. Some of the programs have been developed by our government and non–profit partners and in those cases, Sequoia Healthcare District serves as a financial sponsor.
In total, the District will spend $11 million in fiscal year 2016-17 for a wide range of programs that will impact more than 50,000 residents or about one out of every 4.5 persons living within our boundaries.
