What it is: The goal is to make sure populations in the Sequoia Healthcare District and surrounding communities stay healthy in time of disaster. Thrive acts as the central communications hub and training resource for nonprofits to help them prepare. The goal is to provide easy access to resources who are unable to assist themselves.
Tip: For Community Health Tip from Thrive, the Alliance for Nonprofits
Earthquakes and major disasters are rare, but being ready for them should be an everyday matter. Remember “Drop, Cover and Hold On.” If disaster happens you will automatically drop to the floor, take cover under heavy furniture, cover your head with one hand and hold onto the furniture with the other.
